Great site. Glad I found it.As an aspiring journalist, I like reading about pro ones.

My name is Samson Dada, 17 years old, the Youth Community Correspondent for the North and East Manchester Advertiser and member of Cleland Thom's premier gold standard mentoring scheme.

I have an inquisitiveness for getting up to date with current affairs and have knowledge in many fields such as business and sport.

I am also a heavy follower of US and UK politics.

Jenny Hjul's column every Sunday is testimony to her loathing of and contempt for the country she lives in (if, indeed, she isn't in fact based in Surrey). But you will find Angus MacLeod and Magnus Linklater in the daily TIMES also follow mych the same agenda. if to a slightly less pathological degree. But remember, this is the Murdocch press...they do what they're told.

Every Sunday Times article I have ever seen from Jenny Hjul focuses on the Scottish political scene. Either this is because she is so monomanically obsessed with Scottish politics that she has no interest in the outside world whatever or it is because she has been given exactly the same remit from her employers as the producers of 'Reporting Scotland' have from the BBC - confine yourself to local matters. Every region of the UK has its own equivalent of 'Reporting Scotland' with the same limited scope. For Hjul to imply that 'Reporting Scotland''s lack of UK and International news demonstrates Scottish parochialism represents either shameful dishonesty on her part or dense stupidity.
Or perhaps both?
